A. Approval of Warrant
October 21, 2010 in the amount of $37,631.56
B. Budget Transfer Request
The Business Office respectfully requests approval of two budget transfers for FY 2011 – serial 11-013 submitted by the Superintendent of Schools and by the Bentley Elementary School principal.
From: 13570151-5333 Pupil transportation $25,000
To: 13990161-5514 Instructional supplies $25,000
The Superintendent requested this transfer to fund the purchase of curriculum materials for the Salem Public Schools anti-bullying program that is being implemented this year in response to a new statutory requirement.
From: 13570321-5852 Office furniture $3,110
To: 13570321-5780 Other expenses $3,110
Principal Nancy Pelletier requested this transfer to fund the purchase of an ENO Smart Board to increase the use of technology in the classroom at Bentley Elementary School.
The Business Office recommends approval of both transfers.
C. Request to Amend Budget Transfer Approved on October 18, 2010
The Director of Building Services requests a permanent transfer of $50,000 from the electricity account to a truck purchase account.
